The AGL Foundation has been established with the aim to offers scholarships to upcoming high school graduates who are entering college to study Fine & Performing Arts and they have been doing this successfully for so many years.
The scholarship is named after Alex G. Luttrell who was a very accomplished musician, singer, and actor.
He was caring about others and the founders of the Alex G. Luttrell Over the Rainbow Foundation decided to carry on this legacy by providing scholarships to performing arts students who deserve it due to their excellent educational performances.
Full Description
Many applicants are attracted by this award and they want to try their luck, even though the amount awarded varies every year.
Also, the number of applicants is determined annually depending on the fund and the quality of applications submitted.
There can be up to four winners which will win $1000 each.
However, not everyone is eligible to get it.
Who's eligible?
The AGL Foundation offers scholarships to upcoming high school graduates who are entering college to study Fine & Performing Arts, so it can be said that this award is only for talented individuals.
If you do not belong to this group of people, do not waste your time applying as your application will be rejected.
Only eligible applicants will be able to get the award.
How to Apply
So as to apply for this award, each applicant is required to submit a video of introduction in which he/she will include hi/her interests and plans for the future.
Videos should not be longer than 3 minutes.
Furthermore, they are required to include a resume of their musical, theater, art, or chorus background.
The application is not complete unless three letters of reference from teachers are not submitted, as well as a copy of the acceptance letter from the college you will be attending.
The Application Deadline is April 6th, so it is very important that you submit all the application material before this date.
Late applications will not be taken into consideration.
The selection of the recipients and notification will be made in May.
