Up to five $5,000 scholarships funded by the AICPA Foundation for liberal arts students and holders of non-business degrees who are currently pursuing both graduate studies in accounting and the CPA licensure.
Full Description
The AICPA Foundation is an organization established in 1922 in order to help develop the scientific field of accountancy and accounting education.
They offer up to five $5,000 scholarships every year to liberal arts students and holders of non-business degrees who are currently pursuing both graduate studies in accounting and the CPA licensure. These scholarships were established in 1969 in honor of John Carey’s retirement from the AICPA after his 40-year-long activity as administrative vice president and executive director of AICPA, and editor and publisher of the Journal of Accountancy.
Interested candidates should initially create an account on AICPA’s webpage by introducing their contact details (name, surname, email address, education) and follow the step-by-step application guide provided there.
The deadline for the application is April 1, 2024 and the winners, selected according to their academic achievements, leadership skills and interests to pursue future careers in accounting, will be notified via email by August 1, 2024.
The scholarships will only be used for education-related expenses (e.g. tuition fees, room and board, books etc.) and will be sent directly to the university’s financial office.
