Considering the fact that getting closer to graduation becomes more stressful than it was during the whole education process, the Toni P. Farmer Scholarship Committee decided to take things into its hands and help students who belong to the Allen Chapel AME Church family by awarding scholarships.
Getting the award, students will be ready to prepare for graduation with less difficulties, without worrying about finances and will make future plans for their higher education.
The organization is functioning thanks to numerous donations provided by individuals and companies and will continue to provide financial support to young people interested in higher learning.
Full Description
Allen Chapel | Toni P. Farmer Scholarship is organized by the Scholarship Committee which functions based on donations made by the generous individual contributions and community organizations.
Through this fund, scholarships are awarded annually and they are designed for students who are attending postsecondary undergraduate education or vocational training at an accredited institution.
You will need to pay attention that students attending graduate education are not eligible, as well as people who are enrolled in a post graduate religious education.
Who's eligible?
So as to be eligible for this scholarship, a person has to attend Allen for one year or more together with his/her parents.
Furthermore, his/her obligation is to attend at least two TPFSC workshops where he/she can get all the necessary information related to a scholarship.
If you are lucky enough to get the scholarship, you will be getting an annual stipend for four academic years every fall semester, but you are required to remain a member of Allen and show the proof of enrollment.
How to Apply
If you find yourself appropriate for this scholarship, being that you meet all the criteria, then you should complete the TPFSC application package and submit it before the deadline determined by the Scholarship Committee.
