Full Description
The Alumni Society Golf Tournament and the Alumni Casino Night came together and established this scholarship. The founders of the scholarship aimed at encouraging students’ enrollment in the performing arts. The scholarship therefore aims to nurture artists talents, while in the pursuit of higher education.
Proof of interest in the performing arts is required for approval for this scholarship award. Applicants for the scholarship are expected to showcase their past and continued interest in music.
Who's eligible?
To secure the scholarship, the applicant must fulfill the following requirements:
- Acceptance into the university of Alabama at Birmingham
- Enrolled for a course in visual and performing Arts
- Have High School Certification
How to Apply
The sponsors offers no opportunity for direct application on their website. However, the sponsors make contact with music teachers in the different institutions of learning. Names of eligible students are then sent for scholarship approval. Music teachers in the selected institutions have the mandate to select students based on merit basis. In order to earn this scholarship, you should:

- Make contact with UAB for possible openings of the scholarship.
