They offer three scholarships, with a total value of $3,000 (first place $1,500; second place $1,000; and third place $500) to high-school, undergraduate or graduate students. The winners will be asked to submit verification of their student status (letter of acceptance at a college/university, as well as transcripts or equivalent documents)
The applicants are required to write an up to 350 words essay about developing a new AutoPets product. They must justify their choice of product, the relevance and need of the product, and offer insights how it can be marketed in an innovative way.
They should also describe the target market and strategy (marketing and retail strategy) and formulate their ideas on how to sell the product. Applicants are encouraged to include drawings or illustrating graphics of their proposed product.
The essay contest starts on February 1, 2024 and the deadline for the application is August 1, 2024.
Applicants should be enrolled in an American high school (seniors), or pursue an academic undergraduate or graduate degree at a college, university, certificated program, graduate school or an equivalent institution in the United States.
