The College of Saint Rose scholarship is aimed to help those students who are accepted to Saint Rose.
Each year the College awards merit-based scholarships to full-time freshman applicants who have demonstrated superior achievement in academics.
The great thing is that the award is renewable each year for four years or eight semesters, but the student has to remain in good academic standing.
Full Description
The rigor of a student’s high school/college program is considered in determining scholarship eligibility.
The excellent education achievement is shown through high school average, SAT/ACT scores, and class rank in art, music, and athletics.
How high the award amount will be will vary depending on academic and test scores.
Those of you who take the SAT or ACT more than once, the Admissions Team will take the higher score into consideration for this annual scholarship.
Who's eligible?
Great thing is that all students who have been accepted for admission as first-time freshmen by February 1 will automatically be considered for the scholarship.
All recipients should submit the FAFSA if another aid is desired.
How to Apply
Besides the application form which should be filled out with accurate information, applicants need to provide some additional documentation so that the application is considered complete.
The additional documentation includes the following:
- Official High School Transcripts
- Official Transcripts for any College Level Courses
- Letter of Recommendation from a Counselor or Teacher
- SAT or ACT scores
- Essay or Graded Paper
- Music and Art applicants are required to complete an audition or portfolio review.
It is very important to follow the dates and deadlines related to the scholarship application process.
We have to mention that the start date is in Fall and it will be announced on the scholarship provider’s official website.
Date of greater importance is the application deadline which is April 15th, after which Saint Rose will no more accept the Common Application or the Saint Rose online application.
That is why you should fill it out and submit it prior to that moment.
All the applications received after the deadline will not be taken into consideration.
