A $1000 scholarship for students currently enrolled in an accredited college with a major in Marketing (discharged veterans are preferred).
Colonial Ghosts is an organization providing ghost tours in Williamsburg. They tour was ranked as one of the top 10 ghost tours in the United States by US City Traveler in 2014, and in 2015 they won the Best Tour Operator Award.
They offer annually a $1000 scholarship targeting students enrolled in accredited colleges and majoring in Marketing. Although it is not mandatory, Colonial Ghosts prefers students who are honorably discharged veterans (in this case, candidates should include a copy of their DD-214 in the application).
In order to apply, candidates should fill in the online application form from Colonial Ghosts’ website and write an essay of minimum 1000 words describing their educational goals, their plans after finishing their studies, as well as an explanation of why they think they should be awarded this scholarship and what the scholarship means to them.
The deadline for the application is December 15, 2024 and the winner will be notified by email in January 2025.
In order to be eligible to apply for this scholarship, candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
Although it is not mandatory, it would be preferred for the applicants to be honorably discharged veterans.
