Many funds throughout the USA have noticed the significance of financially supporting young learners in their pursuant of high education degrees who are at the same time having some difficulties when the payment of tuition or board is in question.
One of the scholarships which were established by CSUB Music Department Chair, Dr. Doug Davis, in September 2005, is the CSUB Adele Davis Scholarship Endowment.
Full Description
The CSUB Adele Davis Scholarship Endowment was created in honor of his wife Adele Davis, who was a local first-grade teacher in the Panama School District.
Mrs. Davis, along with her husband, was a big supporter of the CSUB Jazz Fest and overall Jazz music program
The award amount, as well as the number of awards, vary each year and it is determined based on the quality of applicants and number of them.
It is very important that you get familiar with the application timeline, guidelines, and the deadline once the application process starts and make sure you submit all the documents prior to December 1st.
Who's eligible?

In order to successfully apply, you must meet all the application and eligibility requirements set by the scholarship committee and that includes the following:
The applicant must be liberal studies major who is planning to enter the field of elementary education.
Adele Davis Scholarship Endowment is available to a person who, just like Adele, believes in the power of public education.
Those who meet the above-mentioned requirements are highly encouraged to apply, while ineligible applicants should not waste their time applying, as their applications will be rejected.

You will be automatically considered based on your completed General Application found there, but you must provide accurate and honest answers to all the required questions.
