Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter WTS Undergraduate Leadership Scholarship has a desire to foster the development of women in the transportation field and they are achieving this by encouraging bright new professionals to undertake careers in the area of transportation offering them scholarships to make their educational expenses bearable.

The Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter WTS Undergraduate Scholarship is competitive and the committee will select the most deserving candidate based on the applicant’s specific transportation goals, academic record and transportation-related activities or job skills.
The Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter WTS Undergraduate Leadership Scholarship is in the amount of $2,500 and there will be only one among so many applicants who will be selected as a lucky recipient.
Who's eligible?
To be eligible for the Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter WTS Undergraduate Leadership Scholarship you have to be a woman pursuing undergraduate studies in transportation or a related field.
Furthermore, the minority candidates are encouraged to apply, but they must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in transportation engineering, planning, finance, or logistics in certain universities.
The minimum criteria for selection are a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
How to Apply
So as to be considered for the award, your scholarship application must consist of all the required documents.
Here is a checklist and you are responsible to enclose the following items before submitting your application, being that it is the only way that your application is accepted.
You can send the additional documents in separate envelopes or emails, but each item must be submitted by the deadline.
Applicants who submit incomplete applications will not be contacted to submit missing parts.
You must provide:
- A Typed Application in Adobe (.pdf) format filled out completely with accurate and honest answers
- A Signed Official copy of your transcript
- Letter of recommendation
- Personal statement
- Proof of enrollment

Applications must be submitted prior to October 28 which is the deadline and the winner will be contacted via phone around December 16th.
You are suggested to submit them via email.
However, mailed applications will be considered only if an original signature is on the application, the signed application is submitted in Word format, all required documents are submitted, and an official transcript is mailed separately.
