eQuality Scholarship Collaborative awards scholarships are founded so as to encourage California students for their service to the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender community.
There are numerous scholarships available and if you are interested in one of them, you should take a look at eligibility requirements prior to applying for it.

The scholarship award is payable to the recipient’s school and may be used for any education-related expenses.
Those expenses include tuition, fees, books, and required supplies.
Who's eligible?
The eligibility criteria for applicants for all scholarships are the demonstrated service to the LGBT+ community.
Now, each scholarship has its own eligibility requirements:
If you consider applying for the Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors and Recent High School Graduates and the Scholarships for Community College Transfer Students, you must be a resident of northern or central California and plan to attend or began attending an accredited post-secondary institution.
The applicants for Nursing Scholarships must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment by the interview date in an accredited ADN or BSN RN program in California and be in good academic standing with her/his nursing program or, if just entering a nursing program, must have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA with a strong emphasis on math and science.
He/she must not be an employee or the dependent of an employee of Kaiser Permanente and must not have received an eQuality nursing scholarship before.
The winner selection will be based on his/her Service to the LGBT+ community, leadership skills, and hardship or special circumstances.
Academic achievements are the last to be considered.
How to Apply
The application process consists of completing the application form available on the scholarship provider’s official website.
Once the application is accepted, you might be invited for an interview and you must be available for it.
It would be done either by Skype/phone or in person.
The application deadline is January 31st, so make sure to submit the application form on time, as those received after that date will not be accepted.
