Fontana Transport Inc. Scholars Program is created so as to support underrepresented, low-income and first-generation college-bound students who are struggling with financial difficulties, which affect their purse of high education degree.
The main aim of this organization is to be part of a students’ support system throughout their college career and to guide them to a successful future.

These high school seniors who get the award have to be passionate about furthering their education as a means to help out their family, community and themselves.
The number of awards provided annually may vary, while the amount stays the same – $5000.
The award money can only be used for tuition, books, supplies and other educational expenses which tend to be quite expensive.
Who's eligible?
If you are interested in Fontana Transport inc Scholars Program, you should know that there are eligibility criteria that have to be met so as to be accepted as a possible candidate.
Eligible candidates are those people who have graduated from high school and will pursue a full-time undergraduate degree in the United States at any 4-year university.
However, the additional requirement is to plan to study in any of the following fields of study:
- Transportation Management
- Math
- Science
- Engineering
- Architecture
- Environmental Design
- Pre-Med
- Psychology
- Spanish Language/Literature
When it comes to residency requirements, the student applicant does not have to be a U.S. citizen.
There are some obligations related to educational achievements, as eligible students are those with a minimum 3.5 weighted GPA.
How to Apply
The application process is made simple so that the majority of applicants would manage to apply successfully.
Make sure you have a proof of attending a 4-year university to provide, as well as a letter of recommendation by a faculty member which is not obligatory but highly suggested.
Those people who meet the above-mentioned requirements are encouraged to apply, while those who do not meet them, should not waste their time, as their applications will be rejected, as well as those received after the deadline.
