Funny Stories recently launched a scholarship program which will enable qualified students of good academic standing to pursue their college degrees on accredited universities. The scholarship grant worth $3,000 will be awarded to students who are financially incapable but are still aiming to finish college and achieve a good career in the future. Funny Stories believes that financial incapability should not be a hindrance in aiming for higher education.
Full Description
The $3,000 worth of scholarship grant will be awarded by Funny Stories to students who are less fortunate but are still willing to pursue their college education in any chosen major. The award will cover the student’s fees for the whole year and will directly be paid to the student’s chosen university. This will guarantee the students’ access to higher education despite being financially incapacitated. One student will be selected each year but can be reapplied on the following years.
Who's eligible?
These are the requirements for the scholarship grant:
- The student must be a US citizen
- His or her chosen university must be in the US
- Must have a good academic standing (transcripts and other school records might be required for verification)
How to Apply
The applicant will need to accomplish an article consisting of 1,000-1,500 words discussing the topic “The Role of University Education in a Changing World”. Student who can write the best entry will win the scholarship. All the entries must be submitted to scholarship@funny-stories.net. Use “Applying for Scholarship”
as the subject line and don’t forget to include your full name. Deadline for submission of entries is on November 30 of the current year and the winner will be announced on December 31 also of this year. The criteria for choosing the winner is kept private to prevent the students from cheating. The scholarship is good for one year of two semesters but can be reapplied for the succeeding years.
