GeneTex is offering this amazing award with the aim to have a huge impact on future academics and possible young scientists who due to the financial difficulties are not always able to fulfill their educational dreams.
In order to improve scientific advancement, GeneTex has created the GeneTex Scholarship Program which awards a $2000 scholarship twice a year to one and the same student.
Full Description
Each eligible application will be reviewed by a committee of three to five GeneTex employees and the selection of the recipient will be based on the committee’s determination of the application that best matches GeneTex’s values and mission.
Scholarship money will be paid directly to the university at which the recipient is enrolled.
The submission deadline might vary and it is suggested that you get familiar with it once the application process for that specific year starts.
There will be two scholarship winners that will get a $2000 award.
Who's eligible?
If you are wondering whether to apply for the GeneTex for Education scholarship, we suggest you to first take a look at the eligibility requirements, being that if you do not meet them, your application will be rejected.
The scholarship is only available to a student in good standing and enrolled at an accredited college or university, who has declared a STEM major.
A good thing to know is that it is open to international students as well.
All accredited universities are eligible but pay attention that the GeneTex Scholarship Program is intended for students who are enrolled in a STEM graduate program at those universities.
The National Science Foundation defines STEM majors as life sciences, physical sciences, social sciences, computer sciences, and mathematics.
The scholarship is available to applicants that have previously received the GeneTex Scholarship.

As a part of the application process, you are supposed to visit the scholarship provider’s website, find the link to the application form, then, download, complete and return the application form and supporting documents – transcripts, letter of acceptance for incoming or transfer students and a personal 500 words essay on the topic: “What scientific discovery has impacted your life?” to scholarship@genetex.com
