Heartland Goldens and Mini Goldendoodles Veterinarian Scholarship are made available as a result of a gift from Heartland Goldens and Mini Goldendoodles (HGMG).
Heartland Goldens and Mini Goldendoodles (HGMG) will award one $500 scholarship.
Full Description
Scholarship Amount will be paid directly to the recipient’s student account at the university of attendance but only after the recipient successful completion of their first semester of classes at the university or college.
The scholarship winners will be selected by a panel of judges who will determine the winner based on their discretion.
It is good to get acquainted with the scholarship application timeline and make sure you submit all the required documents prior to the deadline on May 30th.
The scholarship committee will not take into consideration late and ineligible, as well as incomplete applications.
Who's eligible?
If you are interested in the eligibility for this award you should know that only students who are a graduating high school seniors and who demonstrate excellence in the classroom, positive history in the care of animals, and who are pursuing a four-year degree in animal nutrition, animal science, animal breeding and genetics, biological sciences or prev-vet sciences are eligible to apply.
Preferences will be given to applicants planning a career in veterinary medicine.

You are supposed to download this application and type in your responses.
Then, you should save the file as HGMG.Last Name.First Name.doc. and email it to HGMGScholarship@gmail.com.
You will receive a confirmation email after June 1 about their submission of the application form.
In the application form, you will be required to describe your animal care experiences in 200 words or less and provide a “Top 10 List” of animal-related participation and other student-related activities.
Furthermore, you will be asked to provide a “Top 10 List” of leadership roles and in 200 words or less answer the following questions:
- Why do you want to be part of animal care, science and research future?
- What role do you wish to pursue?
- How are you preparing yourself for this role?
