The Franchise Education and Research Foundation and Choice Hotels International have partnered to sponsor this scholarship award as they noticed the importance of providing financial support to the young learners and their families who must provide money for the expensive educational costs.

The award can only be used for tuition, books and applicable academic fees.
The winner will get a travel stipend up to $1500 to attend and participate in NextGen in Franchising programming.
If you meet the following eligibility requirements, you are strongly encouraged to apply for the scholarship.
Otherwise, your application will not be taken into consideration.
Who's eligible?
The first question that interested students ask themselves prior to applying for any scholarship is who can apply.
To be eligible for this one-time award, the applicant must meet the requirements set by the scholarship committee.
He/she has to be enrolled in an accredited college or university with studies in business, hospitality or franchise management.
Plus, he/she must have junior or senior college class standing for the period of the scholarship.
Last, he/she has to be a U.S. citizen attending a U.S. accredited college/university in the U.S.
Ineligible applicants are suggested not to submit the application form.
How to Apply
The application process starts when students determine their eligibility and complete the Franchise Education and Research Foundation Scholarship application form.
The application form has to be supported by the required documents.
This means that the applicant must submit an official seal-raised certified academic transcript and prepare a short-typed essay, which would be no more than 500-words long on the subject – “How Millennials Are Changing the Business Culture in the 21st Century.”
Your Resume or Activity List is not required for the IFA Foundation Scholarship Sponsored by Choice Hotels International.
Applications are accepted between August 1st and October 31st.
If you happen to be the International Franchise Association Foundation individual selected, you will be invited to IFA’s Annual Convention in February.
The completed application and supporting materials must be sent in a single packet to Franchise Education and Research Foundation, 1900 K Street, NW, Suite #700, Washington, DC 20006 prior to the deadline.
