Students can compete in an ISEF affiliated science fairs around the world AND win the right to attend ISEF and each year more than 1,700 student finalists earn the right to attend the prestigious Intel ISEF as a result of winning an Intel ISEF-affiliated fair at a local, regional, or national level.

If you happen to be the Intel ISEF finalist, you will compete for more than $5 million in awards and prizes.
The winners will be judged on their creative ability and scientific thought, skills, and clarity shown in their projects.
Who's eligible?
When the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair is in question, each interested student has to get familiar with the eligibility requirements and apply only if he/she meets them.
Ineligible applications will not be taken into consideration, so if you do not fulfill one of the following requirements, you are suggested not to waste your time applying.
You must be an undergraduate student who is attending a university, a four-year college or two-year college.
The age limit is at least 12 years old, but at the same time not to be older than 20.
You must currently be a high school student.
Both full-time and part-time students are eligible to apply.
Each student is only allowed to enter one project and that project may include no more than 12 months of continuous research.
How to Apply
Now, that you have determined your eligibility for the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair award, you are probably wondering what the steps are for applying.
Each affiliated fair may send a pre-determined number of projects to the Intel ISEF to compete in 22 different categories.
On the scholarship provider’s website, you will be able to find the application form which you are supposed to fill out with the accurate answers to all the required questions.
Make sure that all obligatory details are provided so that your application is accepted.
The application form becomes available when the application process begins.
Besides the application form, you will have to pass the interview with the scholarship committee.
