The Jeffrey L. Esser Career Development Scholarship total amount ranges from $5,000 to $15,000 and they offer one to three awards per year, so make sure you get familiar with the application requirements and timeline and apply on time.
The application process finishes on January 6th.
Late and incomplete applications will not be taken into consideration.
Who's eligible?
Just like any other scholarship, the committee has determined some eligibility requirements for the Jeffrey L. Esser Career Development Scholarship.
So as to be accepted as a possible scholarship winner, you must:
- Be an undergraduate student who is attending a university, a four-year college or two-year college
- Have a minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Be a citizen of the USA or Canada
- Must study part-time
The scholarship is restricted to students studying Accounting, Finance, Public Policy, and Administration.
The eligibility requirements for the award also include that the applicant is employed at least three years by one or more state or local governments.
A student who has been a past winner of a scholarship program administered by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada is not eligible to apply.
