The Jesse Jackson Fellows-Toyota Scholarship is a renewable scholarship and the fund awards up to $25,000 dollars annually to deserving college students.
This scholarship can only be used to cover the cost of undergraduate coursework and it cannot be used for any other purpose.
If you are not eligible for the award, you are suggested not to waste your time applying, as your application will not be accepted.
Who's eligible?
The first thing that is of interest to people reading this article is whether they belong to eligible students for this award.
Actually, the scholarship is open to incoming college sophomores only who have a minimum 3.0 GPA and who will be pursuing a business- or STEM-related major.
Furthermore, in order to get the award, you have to prove your community service experience and financial need as well as demonstrate a genuine interest in, and willingness to work for, the automotive industry after completion of your studies.
Applicants must also be a student member of Rainbow PUSH.
The winners of this award must agree to complete two co-op terms at a Toyota facility.
