The Jesse L. Jackson-Fellows Toyota Scholarship was created to assist young people who are qualified which is proved through their academic achievements but lack the financial resources to attend college.

A good thing to know is that there is no state residency requirement for this scholarship.
Who's eligible?
Make sure you meet the eligibility requirements, being that ineligible applications will not be taken into consideration.
You should get acquainted with the following eligibility criteria.
The eligible people are deserving African-American college sophomores.
Applicants must also be a student member of Rainbow PUSH.
If you belong to those students who are interested in applying for the scholarship, you should know that the requirement is that applicants must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA, they need to be pursuing a degree in a business or STEM (Science, technology, engineering and/or math) major that can be applied to the automotive industry, and they must have demonstrated participation in community service.
Being that this scholarship is there to support people with financial difficulties throughout their education, the need for financial assistance needs to be proved through the application material.
If you know that you do not meet these requirements, do not submit the application.

Once the application process starts, you are supposed to check back the official website for updates being that the deadlines sometimes can change and gather all the required documents for the application.
The application process includes that the applicant must submit the application form which must be completed with accurate answers related to his/her personal and educational details as well as provide supporting documentation, including an essay addressing diversity and inclusion.
