The Kyle R. Magoto Scholarship Fund offers scholarships to students who show financial need while achieving great educational goals.
The scholarship is renewable for one additional year and is awarded to one lucky candidate.
To be eligible for this award from the Kyle R. Magoto Scholarship Fund the applicant has to meet the eligibility criteria set by the Scholarship’s Committee.
Firstly, the applicant must be a Russia High School (Shelby Co., Ohio) graduating senior who is pursuing an associate’s or a bachelor’s degree as a full-time student at an accredited educational institution.
Furthermore, the applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA
He/she must have participated in at least five athletic seasons throughout high school.
The Scholarship application is completely online at commfoun.com , and you are supposed to prepare certain information before you start as you will need to provide them.
You will have to answer the questions related to the county and district you live in and your cumulative grade point average.
Make sure you gather your high school and/or college transcript, a list of school and community service activities and one to three Letters of Recommendation, as well as college cost of attendance information
It is very important to mention that your application is not complete without the submission of at least one letter of recommendation from a teacher, coach, advisor or employer.
There are options to submit a letter of recommendation.
You can either attach a letter to your application by uploading it or mail, email or deliver a letter to the Community Foundation by the deadline.
Once you submit the online application, you will apply for a wide range of scholarships offered by Community Foundation of Shelby County and based upon where you attend high school or college, where you live, your college major, your background and your activities the system will determine which scholarship you are eligible for.
The deadline for the Kyle R. Magoto Scholarship is February 13th, so make sure to submit application prior to that moment.
