The Los Angeles Chapter of the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA-LA) is so proud to announce its amazing Scholarship Program.
The HPRA-LA Scholarship Program is designed so as to support and help Hispanic students with outstanding academic achievement and community service.
It has awarded more than $400,000 to future Hispanic PR professionals.
The scholarship has the aim to enable Latino students to pursue their dreams and successfully enter the world of public relations.

When speaking about any scholarship, besides the eligibility and applying requirements, a very important question is the application timeline and each applicant should get familiar with it.
The significant dates are the beginning of the application process which is announced every year on the scholarship provider’s website as well as the application deadline which is May 10th.
Make sure you submit the application package prior to this moment as late applications will not be considered.
Usually, the HPRA-LA Scholarship Program awards two undergraduate and one graduate student scholarships each in the amount of $2,000 each.
If you happen to be the lucky recipient of the scholarship, you will be also given a free one-year student membership to HPRA.
Who's eligible?
This scholarship is available to students who are pursuing degrees in the following areas of study – advertising, communications, journalism, marketing, and public relation.
The eligible applicants are college students in Southern California pursuing a degree in public relations.
Schools in Southern California include those in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Riverside, San Diego, Imperial, Ventura, and Santa Barbara Counties.
The applicant must be a college sophomore, junior, senior undergraduate or graduate student of at least 25 percent Hispanic descent with a minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA and 3.0 GPA in their major subject.

The application process is done online at hpra-usa.org/pages/los-angeles-hpra-scholarship-program, and the deadline for application submission is May 10th.
