The National Association of Junior Auxiliaries, Inc. also known as NAJA was established in 1941 with the aim of uniting members to provide charitable services, especially to children, and to cooperate with other organizations performing similar services.
So, through its NAJA Graduate Scholarship Program, the foundation meets the needs of children and youth who are pursuing graduate-level studies for one year in fields which address the special needs of children and youth.

Since its foundation, the NAJA Graduate Scholarship Program has awarded more than 552 grants totaling over $1,308,504.00 for graduate study.
The number of awardees and the amount of the award is determined each year.
Who's eligible?
It is good to know all the eligibility requirements prior to applying for the NAJA Graduate Scholarship Program.
So, the eligible applicant has to be trying to reach a degree in one of the fields which address the special needs of children and youth.
If you are questioning which graduate fields of study are included, we have to mention that those are counseling, psychology, mental health, special education, speech pathology, exceptional children, remedial skills development, hearing impaired, gifted and talented, etc.
Furthermore, he/she needs to be a U.S. citizen and permanent residents of a state with a Junior Auxiliary Chapter: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee
Last, but not least, he/she must be planning to attend a U.S. college or university for full-time or part-time study.
How to Apply
The NAJA Graduate Scholarship Program is available on the NAJA website from September 1st through February 1st and the application process is totally online.
The Application form will become available online once the application procedure starts and the applicants are supposed to complete it with accurate and honest answers and upload the supporting documents so that the package is considered completed. online It is the applicant’s responsibility the process is complete and he/she will be notified of their status by the third week in April.
Make sure you do not miss the deadline, as late and incomplete applications will be rejected, no matter if the applicant is eligible for the award.
