NDS McCullough Scholarship scholarship is sponsored by Marshall E. McCullough fund and Dairy Management Inc.
Marshall E. McCullough was a well-known Georgia nutrition researcher, educator and journalist and in his memory and honor every year two students who need financial aid for the educational purposes are supported.

The organization is offering two scholarships each year; one is $2000 and one is $1500 and who will receive this amazing award is determined according to applicants communication abilities and future plans.
Who's eligible?
Firstly, he/she should be a high school senior planning to enter a four-year-college or university where he/she will be studying the field of Dairy/Animal Science with a Communications emphasis or Agricultural Journalism with a Dairy/Animal Science emphasis.
It is important to mention that student must be planning on a career in dairy journalism or communications.
Also, the eligible applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
The committee which will be appointed by the National Dairy Shrine President will determine the finalists who will then be asked to submit a video responding to specific questions about the dairy industry.
The top two recipients will be recognized at the National Dairy Shrine Awards Banquet.
How to Apply
Besides the questions related to your personal data, you will be asked to answer in a few words questions about your most meaningful non-dairy related extracurricular activities, describe your farm experiences.
Furthermore, you should write an essay in which you will give the answers to the following questions:
What do you see as the future of the U.S. dairy industry? Why do you want to be a part of that future? What journalism or communication role do you see yourself playing? How are you preparing yourself for a career in journalism or mass communication?
All documentation should be sent to info@dairyshrine.org fom March 1st until April 15th and it should include the filled out application form which should be saved as MC.Last Name.First Name.doc., one letter of recommendation and a letter of enrollment acceptance by a four year university and an official transcript.
A confirmation email about the acceptance of your application form will be received on May 1st.
