If you are selected as a recipient of the Pacific Gas & Electric Company Black ERG Scholarship, the award will be mailed directly to your school financial aid office.
You will be asked to provide your student ID in order to receive the award.
There will be ten lucky recipients who will get an amazing $5000.
Who's eligible?
In order to apply, you must meet the eligibility requirements which include that you are a college-bound high school senior with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
The eligible majors include STEM majors, business, environmental, or energy-related majors.
Additionally, only those applicants whose primary residence is that of a PG&E customer in California at the time of application are eligible to apply.
If a student does not meet all eligibility criteria for a scholarship, they will not be considered for an award, so they are suggested not to waste their time applying.
How to Apply
The PG&E ERG application process opens on December 17th and that is the moment when the application forms become available on the scholarship provider’s website.
The application deadline is February 15th, so make sure you have submitted all the documents prior to that date.
