This scholarship’s mission to increase the representation of American Indians, Alaskan Natives, and Native Hawaiians in STEM-related disciplines.
The Phoenix AISES Scholarship committee will award a $500 scholarship for high school seniors entering an accredited college/university and $1,00 scholarship for current college students enrolled at an accredited college/university.
The selection of the most deserving candidate will be based on academic achievement, student activities, and community service.

It is important to submit the application materials before June 30th to be considered, being that late applications will be rejected.
Awarded applicants will be recognized at the 19th annual Phoenix AISES Golf Tournament.
Award will be paid directly to the recipients’ school of choice.
Who's eligible?
If you are eager to apply for the Phoenix AISES Scholarship, you should get acquainted with the eligibility criteria.
The scholarship committee accepts applications from Native American, Alaskan Native, and Native Hawaiian college students who must have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, or higher, on a 4.0 scale.
So as to be considered for the award, applicants must be attending an Arizona college or university as a full-time undergraduate student in a STEM-related major or course of study.
A college student must be a full-time undergraduate student with at least 12 credit hours per semester, while a high school student must be a high school senior with proof of full-time enrollment to an accredited college/university.
Eligible students are highly encouraged to apply.
How to Apply
The application process is administered by Phoenix AISES and the complete applications must include:
- Official High School/College Transcripts in a sealed envelope
- Letter of Admission from chosen accredited college or university
- Copy of Certificate of Indian Blood (CIB) or proof of tribal enrollment document
- Two letters of recommendation which should be written by mentors, school officials, elected officials or religious leaders and which should contain contact information for the author
- 500-word essay outlining reasons you chose your field of study
- A resume (1-page limit).
- A signed and completed Phoenix AISES Scholarship application.
