The ACC Foundation is the one that offers The Robert L. Schulke Memorial Scholarships, as well as numerous other scholarships to ACC students who meet the criteria established by the scholarship donors.
The Robert L. Schulke Memorial Scholarships is designed to help students who are cancer survivors or have an immediate family member that is a cancer survivor or has passed away due to cancer.

Scholarship awards are applied to the student’s account and can be used for educational purposes.
The number of winners is determined each year depending on the number of applicants and their qualifications.
If you meet the eligibility requirements, you are highly encouraged to apply and try your luck.
Who's eligible?
Those who want to become recipients of the Robert L. Schulke Memorial Scholarship would need to meet eligibility requirements.
They need to be new or returning students enrolled in a health occupation or law enforcement program that reside in Alpena County.
Furthermore, they need to be enrolled at ACC for a minimum of six credit hours per semester and maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA.
How to Apply
A student has to meet the qualifications and fill out the scholarship application form and demonstrate the ability to benefit from a particular program of study.
It is important to submit application forms prior to March 11th so as to be considered as a possible winner.
If you are a lucky recipient, the ACC will notify you.
However, if you did not receive a Scholarship, you will not be notified.
The Robert L. Schulke Memorial Scholarship is a $500 scholarship is awarded to applicants who must have a high school diploma or GED.
You will also have to provide letters of recommendation and essays.
In order to qualify for a scholarship, you must first apply for admission to the College and your Student Aid Report (S.A.R.) must be on file in the ACC Admissions Office.
Once you gather all the requested documentation and fill out the application form, the whole application material should be mailed to ACC FINANCIAL AID OFFICE, 665 Johnson Street, Alpena, MI 49707.
