Who's eligible?
The first question each student should ask himself/herself is whether he/she is eligible for the scholarship he/she wants to apply.
When it comes to the Harold K. Douthit Regional Scholarship eligibility requirements, here you can get all the necessary information.
The applicant must have graduated from a high school in Cuyahoga, Lorain, Huron, Erie, Wood, Geauga, Sandusky, Ottawa or Lucas county and be enrolled as a sophomore, junior or senior at an Ohio college or university for the upcoming school year.
The eligible applicant must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (B).
That is why the student’s college transcript must accompany the application.

Last but not least, students should provide two writing samples, articles, or other relevant work samples that have been published in print or digital formats.
