The James Davidson Innovative Student Scholarship was established by SprayWorks Equipment Group’s owner, James Davidson.
James is famous for designing robots and equipment for the Polyurethane industry for decades and his aim was to get younger generations involved in this industry.
He noticed the importance of financially supporting young learners being that the future of innovations is in their hands.
So, the scholarship is there to support innovation amongst chemical science students and encourage them to continue innovation in their chosen field.
James Davidson Innovative Student Scholarship is a $600 scholarship and among so many applicants, only one winner will be selected.
He/she will be the most deserving candidate and the selection will be based on their academic recommendation and an essay.
If you are wondering about the eligibility criteria, we have to mention that the scholarship will be awarded to a student enrolled in a four-year university, pursuing a degree in Chemical Science, and holding a 2.5 or above GPA.
Ineligible applicants are suggested not to waste their time applying, as their applications will be rejected.
Eligible applicants are highly encouraged to apply for this outstanding award.
What they need to do is to submit one academic letter of recommendation from a non-family member and 800-word essay in which they will be speaking about their plans related to innovation through chemical science.
The scholarship application process lasts from August 1 to December 21.
Applications received after the deadline will not be taken into consideration, even though the applicant is eligible for the award.
