The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is awarding numerous scholarships to deserving students since its foundation.
This is a professional association which is doing its best to achieve the advancement of television and related electronic media.
The Academy sponsors scholarships for high school and colleges in cities served by the 19 local chapters.
The aim of this scholarship program is to reward the efforts of deserving students who are trying to get a degree in television broadcasting and video production.

We have to mention that there are five scholarships available, and they include:
The Randy Falco Scholarship, a $10,000 scholarship which is awarded to a Hispanic or Latino student who is pursuing a career in any aspect of the television industry.
The Jim McKay Memorial Scholarship which is aimed at a student pursuing a
career in sports television.
The Douglas W. Mummert Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in any aspect of the television industry, but he/she has to have made a positive impact through
community service.
The Mike Wallace Memorial Scholarship, again a $10,000 award, for a student pursuing a career in television journalism.
The NATAS Trustees’ Scholarship for a student pursuing a career in any aspect of the television industry.
The Mike Wallace Memorial Scholarship was created in honor of longtime correspondent Mike Wallace while the Jim McKay Memorial Scholarship honors sportscaster Jim McKay since 2009.
Who's eligible?
Its scholarships are available to high school seniors who intend to pursue a bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis on any aspect of the television industry and who show excellent academic achievements.
Those application forms which are not complete or are received after the deadline will be rejected and those people, as well as ineligible ones, will not be considered for scholarships.
How to Apply
Make sure you submit the applications for national scholarships before March 15th, as they will not be accepted after that date.
All the applications will be reviewed by the NATAS Trustees and officials with the National Scholarship Committee.
The winners will be announced in late April.
