The Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program seeks to encourage talented science, technology, engineering, and mathematics majors and professionals to become K-12 mathematics and science teachers.
The Robert Noyce Scholarship is offering tuition scholarships of $15,000 per year for up to two years which is an amazing award worth consideration.
Noyce Scholars will join Trinity University’s teacher preparation program and complete the M.A.T. before entering the teaching profession.

The scholarship is established so as to increase the numbers of women and minorities in mathematics and science careers.
When it comes to the selection criteria for the Robert Noyce scholarship, it will be awarded to the most qualified applicants on the basis of academic merit.
Furthermore, other important factors that would influence the decision will be financial need.
The preference will be given to people with disabilities.
Ten scholarships are awarded annually to qualified applicants so as to help defray the cost of tuition for students with demonstrated financial need.
Who's eligible?
The eligibility criteria set by the scholarship committee is that eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents enrolled full time at CSUN pursuing degrees in STEM fields.
They need to be people who plan to earn credentials or STEM graduates currently enrolled in CSUN’s single-subject math or science teacher credential program.
Applicants must be willing to sign a detailed, legally appropriate payback agreement.
In addition, applicants from both science and math majors must have a GPA of 2.8 or better and at least a 2.6 in courses for the major in the last 30 semester units.
If they are undergraduates, they must be ready to enter the last two years of an undergraduate degree program in science or math.
Post-baccalaureate applicants are also eligible to apply, but they can make use of the scholarship for one credential year.
How to Apply
If you meet the application requirements, you should submit the application form for the Robert Noyce scholarship prior to the Deadline Date on August 25th.
All applications received after this date will not be taken into consideration.
