The Turco Muñoz Domestic Violence Survivor Scholarship fund has to aim to help to fight against domestic violence and it does that by supporting the education of those who intend to professionally help with the domestic violence crisis.
The Scholarship Selection Committee will review all complete applications and will determine the winner according to the applicant’s academic performance, employment and volunteer experience, financial need, and plans after graduation.
The Turco Muñoz Domestic Violence Survivor Scholarship eligibility criteria are set by the scholarship committee and have to be met if you want to be considered as a possible awardee.
Candidates must have some victim advocacy experience serving DV survivors, such as a victim advocate, family law paralegal, social worker, investigator, or other employees of an organization whose mission is to serve domestic violence survivors.
The applicant must be enrolled in either a law school or undergraduate or graduate program with a focus in an applicable field of study.
He/she must have a genuine intention to focus your career after graduation to serving survivors of domestic violence.
If you meet these requirements, you are highly encouraged to apply.
Otherwise, do not waste your time, as you will definitely be rejected.

It is important to know that applicants must submit their completed applications through the submission portal, and there is no other way of applying.
The application process opens on June 15th and lasts until August 15th.
If you submit your applications after that period, you will not be considered by the Selection Committee.
At the end of the application process, the Committee may select a few finalists and hold interviews as needed to make a final decision.
The scholarship will be awarded on August 31st and shall be paid by Turco Legal, PC directly to the winner’s school.
The award can be used only for the purpose of tuition assistance.
